So, you clicked on this page. I’m touched, yet astounded at the same time lmao. I made this, to vent on my feelings as to why I ship all the ships I’ve labelled as my OTP’s. Hopefully if you don’t like any of these pairings, I can change your mind ;) LOL. Okay, on with it.

WHY DO I SHIP…?:

Sam/Mercedes From Glee:
Welp. Let me start by saying I’m not an ancient gleek who’s been there from the pilot. I used to wonder what people saw in this show and why they even wasted their time watching it. Then one day on tumblr, a GIF of Sam and Mercedes’ first proper interaction at prom showed up on my dash and I thought wow, that has to be cutest thing ever. I have a thing for interracial couples and so this led me to searching for the episode Prom Queen. After I’d watched it I was already infatuated with them and I went on to watch New York. The Samcedes tag is also a big reason why I ship them so hard too. Everyone there just seems to see exactly what I see in this couple, and as the episodes have gone on we can see they have something that is truly real. And those summer nights were WAY more than just a fling. At the moment, this couple is pretty much an obsession of mine haha. And I just continue to love them more with each passing episode. I don’t think a ship has ever given so many emotions over such little things as much as these two have.  

Rich/Grace From Skins:
Again, an interracial couple but that’s not even the main reason I ship these two so hard. I just loved the fact that Grace saw past Rich’s ‘metal persona’ and although he was being mean and prejudice towards her at first, she knew that deep down he could be amazingly sweet and thought he was worth it enough to try ridiculously hard to get him to show that. I also love how Rich ended up falling for her because as he got to know her, he found out that she was actually very different compared to her friends, and she was probably one of the most genuine people he’d ever met. They were so great together in practically every scene they had and the writers were and still are absolute fucking idiots for killing Grace’s character off. They were literally a match made in heaven and although so different managed to balance each other out. It was just nice to see that Rich really did love her and felt he needed her there by his side just to function properly (as he showed in his episode this series). Hurting his character like that by killing his girlfriend was just cruel, but then again, that’s just the skin’s writers pointless need to be dramatic in every series for you.

Tate/Violet From American Horror Story:
Very annoyingly, these two only got one season together. And although loads of people were saying their relationship was unhealthy, I feel Violet being there seemed to be the thing that was actually making Tate better. They’d only known each other for a short amount of time before they’d fallen in love, and I don’t think it was the pointless-mistake-teenage-kind either. Again, all their scenes together just tug at my heart strings. And if either of them are put with any one else I feel the need to throw a tantrum. Ryan Murphy’s decision of having them break up and not really giving them closure annoys me to no end because I believe the only way these two can be happy is if they are together. Sad times.

Shawn/Angela From Boy Meets World:
Low and behold another interracial couple - and from the 90’s at that. These points aside I absolutely ADORE this couple. I re watch all the episodes that were centred around them on youtube all the time because I seriously can not fathom how right these two were for each other. Before Angela, Shawn was a sort of player and had commitment issues. Even having a 2 week rule where he would only date someone for that certain amount of time. But then the writers made the AMAZING decision in introducing Angela’s character in season 5 and once Shawn found out he had so much in common with her after using the two week rule on her the rest is history. She was the first person he ever wanted to have a serious relationship with, and she was his first love (and vise versa btw lol). I just love the fact he said stuff like “I really want her to like me.” and “But with Angela, it matters.” They went through so much and in the end managed to overcome everything. I don’t understand why the writers decided to write Angela’s character off in the second last episode of the show but whatever, that episode just proved even more that they loved each other. (Still wishing Angela had shut up for those few seconds and let Shawn propose though lmao.) Even though Angela made the decision of moving to Europe for the year to be with her father, I certain that once the year was up, she came back to be with Shawn and they got married and had cute little mix raised babies. LOL I don’t care it happened.

Sam and Freddie From iCarly.
Yes I watch iCarly. Shut up, haha. Anyways, don’t even get me started on these two. I’ve pretty much shipped them from like the 3rd episode of iCarly but it wasn’t until iOMG when I became a hardcore shipper. Like seriously, they constantly argue and are so incredibly different…but they are endgame. ENDGAME I TELL YOU. There was a period in time when I lost interest in iCarly and missed only goodness knows what episodes, but then after I’d fangirled of iOMG and they had the god awful long hiatus (4 MONTHS THOUGH) I took the time to watch over all the episodes I’d missed…and you can just see they are meant to be. Sam truly loved Freddie through the Seddie arc and you could see that Freddie was falling for her more in each episode. I was a mess through the whole arc lmao, my emotions were everywhere. Then the unexpected ending of iLove You happened, and although I’m still heartbroken…one of the best scenes ever. I still can’t watch it without my eyes watering. It was just so real and raw and…I can’t. They will get back together…I’m sure of it.

Beck and Jade From Victorious.
So, I was almost positive these two were never going to break up…but then Dan Schnieder decided to be evil and shock us with the episode “The Worst Couple.” In the beginning I disliked Jade entirely for what she did to Tori in the pilot. But that was me being prejudice because I thought Jade was going to be one of those typical stupid bitchy popular girls with the set of back up friends to follow her around all the time. But then the episodes went and I realised she wasn’t that…at all lol. And when I watched the episode Jade Dumps Beck, I guess I was won over from then on. I love Jade now btw haha, and like how she’s so sarcastic. Anyways back to Jade and Beck…they just need to be together okay? Beck brings out the absolutely BEST in Jade and really does see through her tough girl persona. He’s in love with her as he as expressed many times in the show and in those cute “The Slap” video thingys and I’m sure he’s the only one who truly has. Jade is very antisocial as she shows on Victorious, and it’s a wonder she managed to get a boyfriend in the first place. Beck of all people being that role just shows you how much he means to her, and that he must be special if she decided to make the effort and get into a relationship with him. Jade is also pretty insecure and she’s always pretty possessive of Beck, if she didn’t love him she wouldn’t care so much now would he? They will get back together. Beck is only human, and probably just needs a break from having to put up with Jade in general. You can see he always believed she was worth it…but i dunno maybe he’s just having a brain fart at the moment LOL. Anyway, yeah these two are endgame and will also get back together in no time.

 Eli and Clare From Degrassi.
…This one is just plain simple. Clare saw something in Eli, and fell for the guy (as she put it) “Who had the confidence to tell me I had pretty eyes but was more interested in my brians.” Eli, still wounded over the death of his ex girlfriend also saw something in Clare. These two are pretty much again bi-polar opposites and I like how they made Eli fall for the saint girl, who was innocent and had morals instead of someone like him who was gothic like…and stuff. One thing I love the most about them is that even though they’re broken up, Eli is still very much in love with her and from what I’m seeingd hasn’t given up on her. Sadly, he lost is way and turned out to be bipolar (Is it weird that I loved mentally unstable Eli?) which drove Clare away and broke them up, but now that he’s better he can fixate on getting her back. I am absloutely against the incest - that’s right incest the writers are introducing for Clare’s character. I DON’T CARE IF THEY ARE STEP SIBLINGS. Stop being disgusting, pull her away from Jake and put her back into Eli’s arms. Nuff said. Their scenes as a couple were just too adorable for words, Degrassi needs that back and Eli and Clare are the ones to bring it.

That’s about it. And You know what I’ve notice? ALL my OTP’s are apart or are broken up. Welp…this is awkard. lmao. But anyway if you actually made it this far down the page after my rambling thanks SO much for reading :) <33333333
